TANKER's Goodwill Ambassador Actor Suriya
TANKER is grateful to Actor Suriya for having come forward to be our Goodwill Ambassador. His keen interest in TANKER and his compassion in wanting to help the underprivileged motivated him to donate a sum of Rs.10 Lakhs towards the Madurai Dialysis Unit. He has also given his time in helping TANKER with our awareness programme by doing TV spots and Radio Bytes to help spread awareness and prevention of kidney disease.
Our Future Plans
TANKER along

dialysis units in other parts of Tamil Nadu.

to schools, colleges and rural areas in an around Tamil Nadu.

The “Krishnan-Ang TANKER Foundation Endowment Lecture” was delivered by Dr. Syed Adibul Hasan Rizvi, Prof. and Director, S.I.U.T (Karachi) Magsaysay Award Winner on “Challenges in Establishing Renal Care in a Developing Country”
The “Muthoot M. George Memorial TANKER & Kerala Kidney Research Foundation Young Investigator Award” – Rs.1,00,000/- with citation was given to Dr. G. Basu, Assistant Nephrologist, CMC Vellore.
The “Renny Abraham TANKER Foundation Love for Service Award” – Rs.1,00,000/- with citation was given to Dr. R.V. Ramani, Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore & Dr. David M Chico, Bangalore.
The “La Renon TANKER Foundation for the Sake of Honour Award”– Rs.1,00,000/- with citation was given to Dr. S. Ananth Karumanchi, USA.
