The TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation held a screening camp at Tiruppur North Rotary Dialysis Centre in Tiruppur.

The camp was conducted Friday, November 18, 2022.

Dr. Sadique was at hand to guide the TAPP team from Chennai which consisted of TAPP Head, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi, Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa, while Senior Manager, Mr. R. Jinu Kumar, joined them from Tiruppur.

The other volunteers were from IMF Hospital paramedical staff, Mrs. Adhira and Ms. Vibija.

In all, 71 people were screened at the camp, for BMI, blood pressure and capillary blood glucose (CBG), and had their urine tested.

It was found during the camp that most people have BP, CBG and urine glucose.

These people were referred to Government Hospital, Tiruppur.

There were also some newly-detected diabetes and hypertension cases for which the people were referred for treatment.
