TANKER Foundation patient, Mr. Paritosh Pal, and his family dropped by during the manager’s meet that was held April 28 and April 29, 2023, at Presidency Club, Chennai.

An artist, Mr. Pal (50) resides in Darjeeling and earns Rs. 10,000 per month. His wife is a homemaker. He has two children. He has conducted fundraising programmes with his paintings for TANKER Foundation.

In 2001, Mr. Pal developed breathing problem. He consulted a doctor in a private hospital and, after investigations, the report showed that he had renal failure.

He was advised to go in for kidney transplant. His cousin agreed to donate the organ and he underwent transplant September 18, 2002, at Chennai Kaliappa Hospital, Chennai.

Since Mr. Pal was unable to purchase post-transplant medicine, he approached TANKER Foundation for financial assistance.

TANKER Foundation has been helping him since 20 years for his transplant medication.

He brightened up the managers meeting with his beautiful painting.
