The Ambattur dialysis unit (Rekha Memorial Renny Abraham Ambattur Rotary TANKER Foundation Dialysis Unit) was selected by the Government of Tamil Nadu for commendation during the 74th Republic Day that was celebrated Thursday, January 26, 2023.
The unit received the certificate for exemplary performance under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).
As the Ambattur unit comes under Thiruvallur district, the award was presented by Thiruvallur Collector, Dr. Alby John Varghese.
Earlier, the Ambattur unit had won the Certificate of Appreciation ‘for exemplary performance under Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CHCHIS-AB-PMJAY)’ on August 15, 2021.
The Ambattur unit once again received an award of appreciation from Thiruvallur Collector, Dr. Varghese, on August 15, 2022, on the 75th Independence Day.
After that, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented on January 26, 2022, (Republic Day) after the flag-hoisting ceremony at Thiruvallur. The award, presented by Collector Dr. Varghese, was received by Ambattur dialysis unit Senior Manager, Mr. Guganathan, during the colourful ceremony.
