The TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation conducted an awareness programme at the Thiruthangal Nadar College, Kodungaiyur, Chennai, Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

The programme was conducted by TAPP team members Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa, who were ably assisted by volunteer, Mrs. Bhuvana.

In all, 230 students studying B.Com, B.A. (English & Tamil), and Computer Science participated in the programme along with six staff members.

Dr. Marthanda Boopathi, the YRC Club Coordinator from the Tamil Department, gave an introductory talk about TANKER Foundation.

Following this, Mrs. Ramapriya delivered an awareness talk about kidney disease.

Students raised several questions about kidney stones, and she provided detailed explanations.

At the end of the programme, Dr. Marthanda Boopathi said he was very much interested to hold a roadshow, which he plans for August.
