The seminar hall of Inaintha Kaigal Foundation at Rayapuram, Madurai, was filled with members of the general public who had assembled to hear an awareness talk by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

The TAPP team was represented by Madurai Coordinator, Mr. V. Alagumalai.

The participants raised questions about the initial symptoms of kidney failure and genetic reasons for kidney disease. They also wanted to know about the link between diabetes and hypertension and kidney health. While clearing all their doubts, Mr. Alagumalai also told the 84 participants about the advantages of the correct amount of water consumption.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Arul, Director of Inaintha Kaigal Foundation.
