An awareness programme was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation Friday, August 23, 2024, at the St. Thomas Matriculation Higher Secondary School, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai.

The TAPP team included Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa, who were ably assisted by intern, Ms. S. Madhu Metha, from D G Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam.

In all, 200 students and five staff members benefited from the programme, where Mrs. Ramapriya delivered an awareness talk on kidney disease.

Though the students listened attentively, they did not raise any questions at the end of the session.

Earlier, school Principal, Mr. Devaarputham, gave an introductory talk about TANKER Foundation.
