A team from TANKER Foundation, including the head of TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP), visited the Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Thiruporur, Chengalpattu, to present an awareness programme.

The programme that was held on the premises of the institute Tuesday, April 23, 2024, was attended by 150 people, including nursing students, allied health sciences students, technicians, staff nurses and patients who had come for OP.

TAPP head, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi, gave an awareness talk about kidney disease in the presence of TANKER Foundation Head Admin, Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander.

TANKER Foundation Deputy General Manager, Mrs. S. Geetha, spoke about the dialysis units being run by TANKER.

Dr. Roy Chaudry, Dean of the college, welcomed the gathering, while Dr. Gokul gave an introductory speech. Vascular surgeon, Dr. Saravanan, proposed a vote of thanks.

Dr. Thomas Joseph, Head of the Department of Nephrology, was present.
