Thirty members of the general public participated in an awareness programme organised by TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Narimedu, Madurai.

The programme that was held May 11, 2024, was conducted under the aegis of the Soils Suns Welfare Foundation, Madurai, under the able guidance of TAPP Madurai Co-ordinator, Mr. V. Alagumalai.

The awareness session was inaugurated by Mrs. Saara, the medical counsellor.

Mr. Alagumalai then gave an awareness talk about kidney disease. The participants raised questions about the relationship between diabetes, hypertension and kidney health. They also wanted to know about the amount of water to be consumed.

Mr. Alagumalai cleared all their doubts and they were wiser for the awareness programme.
