Taking a kidney awareness programme to a beauticians training institute is no mean feat. That is what the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program team of TANKER Foundation did Saturday, July 13, 2024.
The TAPP team members, Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa, were at Blossom Academy, a beauticians training institute at the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, where a beautician course was being held.
The session that included 20 trainees and one faculty member, was inaugurated by Mrs. Premalatha of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board.
Mrs. Ramapriya gave an awareness talk about kidney disease.
The question and answer session was so good that Mrs. Premalatha requested the TAPP team to organise a camp for the residents.
