It was a day to share her experience and knowledge not just as a First Responder but also as a person who has been on dialysis, CAPD, for more than 20 years, with students.
Mrs. Shanthi Rajmohan conducted a session on her journey as a First Responder to support peers and caregivers for the first-year postgraduate students of Madras School of Social Work, Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
The session was in collaboration with BALM for a certificate course.
She coached PG students from MSW in Mental Health and MSW in Children and Families.
Mrs. Shanthi Rajmohan, a member of the International Federation of Kidney Foundations – World Kidney Alliance (IFKF-WKA), is also a recipient of a TANKER Foundation award.
Mrs. Shanthi Rajmohan was presented the La Renon TANKER Foundation for the Sake of Honour Award (given to an individual who has done exemplary work in his or her field) in January 2024.
She was awarded for being a brave warrior and a person who has been on CAPD long term (20+ years).
