In all, 42 students of Ilakku Foundation, P&T Nagar, Madurai, benefited from the awareness programme conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation Sunday, April 28, 2024.

The awareness programme was conducted by TAPP Madurai Co-ordinator, Mr. V. Alagumalai.

The programme was inaugurated by Ilakku Foundation Director, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi. Mr. Alagumalai then gave an awareness talk about kidney disease.

The students raised questions about formation of kidney stones.

Mr. Alagumalai also explained about the link between diabetes and kidney health and the need to consume the right amount of water.
