Celebrating 60th birthday with kind gesture

One of the dialysis patients of Vellore unit of TANKER Foundation, Mr. Srinivasan, celebrated his 60th birthday Sunday, September 11, 2022. It is usual for people to give gifts to the person celebrating his / her birthday and celebrating one’s 60th birthday is exceptionally special.

But the reverse happened with Mr. Srinivasan, who has been undergoing dialysis for the last five years at the unit.

His son, Mr. S. Vinoth, donated Rs. 7,000 to TANKER Foundation as a way of celebrating his father’s birthday and thanking TANKER.

Unit manager, Mr. Thyagarajan, received the amount with both hands and thanked the family for the wonderful gesture.

In turn, he honoured Mr. Vinoth with a TANKER memento, which is a personalised, special, ceramic mug.
