A team of people belonging to TANKER Foundation made a courtesy call on Greater Chennai Corporation’s new Commissioner, Mr. J. Kumaragurubaran, IAS, Friday, September 6, 2024.
TANKER Foundation Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, Head Admin, Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander, Advisory Member, Ms. Rohini Menon, Officer, Mrs. R. Sabitha, and volunteer, Mrs. Jayanthi, called on the Commissioner at his office in Ripon Buildings, Chennai.
They also honoured him with the TANKER memento, which is a personalised, special, ceramic mug containing the images of TANKER Foundation trustees, the Goodwill Ambassador and some patient-beneficiaries.
Mr. Kumaragurubaran, an alumnus of National Institute of Technology Tiruchy, and who has 20 years administrative experience from various departments, was appointed as the Commissioner of the civic body on July 16, 2024, replacing Dr. J. Radhakrishnan.
