Dr. Janani played an active role in explaining about how to control kidney disease to 25 members of the general public, who participated in the awareness programme conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Programme (TAPP) team at Vyasarpadi, Chennai.

The programme was conducted Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Primary Health Centre and TANKER dialysis unit in Vyasarpadi, Chennai.

The TAPP team consisted of Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa, who were ably assisted by Mr. Karthick, in-charge of the Vyasarpadi dialysis unit.

Mrs. Ramapriya gave an awareness talk about kidney disease.

Dr Janani advised the public to make lifestyle modifications, sparing phone usage and how to control blood pressure and diabetes after pregnancy.

Also, the TAPP team distributed 200 leaflets on kidney health to members of the general public.
