Ms. Chitra Viswanathan of the Velliyur Nott Trust made a generous donation of Rs 2.20 lakhs to TANKER Foundation Friday, May 6, 2022.
The money is to be used for procuring EPO injections and conducting dialysis for underprivileged patients.
Ms. Chitra Viswanathan made the donation at the TANKER Foundation admin office at T. Nagar, Chennai, and was warmly received by Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander, Head Admin. She also gratefully accepted the donation which would help TANKER go the extra mile in serving underprivileged dialysis patients.
ABOUT VELLIYUR NOTT TRUST
The Velliyur Nott Trust was set up as a charitable foundation in Chennai in 1998, funded privately by members of the Veliiyur Nott clan, with the objective of supporting causes in education, healthcare and the environment, says a note from the Trust.
The initiatives they support are predominantly in the Chennai and erstwhile North Arcot districts of Tamil Nadu, adds the note.
