Forty women and members of the general public participated at an awareness programme conducted by TANKER Foundation’s TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team at Padi, Chennai, Saturday, June 22, 2024.

The TAPP team was represented by Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa.

The programme. held at CSI St. Michael’s Church in Padi, was organised by the Positive Women Network.

The session was inaugurated by Mrs. Gowsalya, Co-ordinator of Positive Women Network.

The introductory talk was given by Mrs. Ramapriya, while Mrs. Deepa gave the awareness talk about kidney disease.

The participants asked questions about care of diabetics. They also raised doubts about hypertension and kidney disease and the amount of water that has to be consumed to prevent kidney disease.

The TAPP team answered all the questions and cleared their doubts.
