TANKER Foundation Founder-Trustee, Dr. Georgi Abraham, was conferred the ISN – Bayer Pioneer Award by the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN).
He was chosen for the honour for his pioneering ‘contribution in peritoneal dialysis in India’.
Dr. Georgi Abraham was presented the award at the 52nd Annual Conference of Indian Society of Nephrology (ISNCON) in Pune, Maharashtra, December 1, 2022.
Dr. Georgi Abraham personally accepted the felicitation and award at the inaugural function of the conference where he also met up with the President of International Society of Nephrology, Dr. Agnes Fogo.
The beautiful citation presented to Dr. Georgi Abraham was signed by ISN President, Dr. A.K. Bhalla, and ISN Honorary Secretary, Dr. Narayan Prasad.
According to ISN, the award is presented to member-nephrologists who have done pioneering work in developing research for kidney diseases.
