TANKER Foundation Founder Trustee, Dr. Georgi Abraham and TANKER Foundation Managing Trustee and President of the International Federation of Kidney Foundations – World Kidney Alliance (IFKF-WKA), Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, participated at the 2nd Commonwealth Tribute to Life Conference, held for three days from March 22, 2024, at Gurugram.

Dr. Georgi Abraham was the moderator on the second day for a plenary session along with Dr. Shroff where the topic of discussion was ‘Augmenting Kidney Transplants – Lessons Learnt’.

Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami was one of the Chairpersons, along with Dr. Karhun Nanda, during a panel discussion on the first day. The topic of discussion was ‘A personal story’ and the speaker was Dr. Job Kasweshi from Zambia, who talked of his difficult journey from kidney disease to dialysis to transplant.
Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami was also a faculty member at the Advanced Transplant Coordinator Workshop – Navigating Change.

The Gurugram conference theme was ‘Celebrating Diversity’ and it had speakers / panelists / chairpersons from the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia and Caribbeans apart from India.
