It was heartening to note that the 50 truck drivers and cleaners who participated in the screening camp at Madhavaram were healthy. This is what the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team felt after conducting a screening camp at the CMDA Truck Terminal Complex Welfare Association in Madhavaram, Chennai.
The camp, guided by Dr. Harrish Raj, was conducted Monday, November 13, 2023.

The TAPP team, consisting of Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa, was helped by volunteers, Mrs. Selvi and Mrs. Bhuvana.

The team checked the BMI and blood pressure of the drivers and cleaners and tested their capillary blood glucose and urine.

The TAPP members found that the truck drivers and cleaners who attended the camp were mostly healthy. They eat only the food they cook. They store the ingredients in the truck.
