An awareness programme was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at SIP Memorial Trust in Periyar Nagar, Perambur, Saturday, April 20, 2024.

The programme was conducted by TAPP team members Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa.

The programme was attended by 30 women and staff of the Trust.

Mrs. Ramapriya gave an awareness talk about kidney disease. She also gave advice on how to maintain kidney health.

The participants were interested in knowing how diabetes and BP affect kidneys and their doubts were cleared.

They were eager to take the message to their family and neighbours. So, they showed interest in conducting a screening camp for the people of the area.
