An awareness programme was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation for the inmates of the Annai Terasa Old Age Home, Kilpauk Garden, Chennai, Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

The programme was conducted by TAPP team member, Mrs. Deepa, and she was ably assisted by Ms. Harini from Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, Perambur, Chennai.

In all, 45 senior citizens participated and eagerly asked questions to Mrs. Deepa after she gave an introductory talk about TANKER Foundation, focusing on kidney awareness.

The elderly participants asked questions about their problems and Mrs. Deepa cleared all their doubts. She also provided detailed dietary advice for kidney health.

In the end, the programme led to a discussion about holding a screening camp for the elderly members.
