There was good turnout at the free kidney and heart screening camp for members of the Nagarathar community organised in Thanjavur, with TANKER Foundation as partner for kidney camp and Chettinad Hospital for heart camp.

Organised by the Nagarathar Physicians of North America and International (iNPNA) Nagarathar Health Club (NHC) and Thanjavur Nagarathar Sangam, the camp was held Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Thanjavur Rotary Hall.

Chief guest, Justice M. Chockalingam, declared open the camp.

Thanjavur Nagarathar Sangam president, Mr. U. Murugappan, delivered the welcome address. Head of the Nagarathar Physicians of North America and International (iNPNA), Dr. CT. Palaniappan, presided over the function.

Those who offered felicitations were: Global Chairman, Nagarathar Health Club, (USA), Mr. V. Palaniappan, Secretary, NHC India, Mr. C. Adaikalavan; Chairman, Erode Nagarathar Charitable Trust, Mr. Lena. Narayanan; and Chairman of Chidambaram Nagarathar Sangam, Mr. RM. Ilango.

Zonal Secretary, Nagarathar Health Club, and Vice-President, Thanjavur Nagarathar Sangam, Mr. AR. Narayanan, proposed the vote of thanks.

Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi, Head – TANKER Awareness and Prevention Programme (TAPP), took active part in the conduct of the camp.

Mr. Alagumalai, Program Coordinator, TANKER Foundation dialysis unit, Madurai, also participated in the activities of the camp.
