It is with profound sadness that we pay our homage to Dr C V Krishnaswami, a TANKER Foundation awardee, who passed away May 21, 2021.
Dr. Krishnaswami was presented with the K. Venkatanarayana TANKER Foundation Awareness Award during the TANKER Awards Nite January 25, 2020. The award is presented to an individual for creating awareness on any disease – mental, physical and social.
Dr. Krishnaswami was selected for the award for creating awareness about diabetes through his books, talks and free clinics. The award carried a prize of Rs 1 lakh, a citation and a gold medallion.
TANKER Foundation’s Founder-Trustee, Dr Georgi Abraham, Managing Trustee, Ms Latha A Kumaraswami, and all the Trustees and Advisory Members have condoled the death of Dr. Krishnaswami who made major contributions in his field of speciality. He was an inspiration and a guiding light to all of us.
