An awareness programme was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Thiruppalai, in Madurai, Friday, July 12, 2024.

The TAPP team was represented by Madurai Co-ordinator, Mr. Alagumalai.

The programme that was held at the old age home in Thiruppalai, saw the participation of 38 members of the general public.

The home’s manager, Mr. Krishnan, gave the introduction to the programme.

The participants, being well-educated, made it an interactive session by raising questions about dietary advice for kidney health.

They initiated discussions on various topics like hypertension and diabetes and ways to prevent them.
