Thousand Lights MLA, Dr. Ezhilan, has shown great interest in the service TANKER Foundation is rendering. He is not a stranger to the staff and patients at the Valluvarkottam dialysis unit as he has visited the place a couple of times.
He had promised all help to improve the facilities of the unit and is now doing everything to keep his word.
On Saturday, October 29, 2022, he visited the Valluvarkottam unit to discuss the expansion of the unit with five additional machines for Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B patients.
He was accompanied by Dr. Chitra, Medical Officer, Corporation Diagnostic Centre, Valluvarkottam; AE Square; Assistant Engineer; and civil contractor.
Dr. Ezhilan and the others were warmly received by TANKER Foundation Head Admin, Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander.
Infrastructure requirements, civil works, STP, RO lines, drainage lines, diarack, electrical works and works related to the expansion of the unit were explained to him in detail. The list was handed over to the civil contractor.
Dr. Ezhilan, in true spirit, said all the works will be completed at the earliest to enable expansion of the unit.
Mr. Abdul Sukur, Valasaravakkam (Chinna Porur) dialysis Unit Head, was present during the interaction and took active part in it.
