The TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation was pleasantly surprised to note that there were more female participants than male, at the screening camp they held in Anna Nagar.

The camp was conducted Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Muthirsolai Trust, Kamarajar Nagar, Anna Nagar, Chennai, for the general public.

Dr. Nikitha guided the TAPP team that consisted of Mrs. Deepa and two volunteers.

In all, 71 members of the general public had their BMI and blood pressure checked. Their capillary blood sugar and urine were also tested.

Unfortunately, the TAPP team found that those who had physical problems were not taking medicines regularly. They were suitably counselled and advised to continue to take their medicines.
