A screening camp was conducted at Arakkonam by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation.

Remarks: The camp was organised by Mrs. Menaga, the Thiruverkadu unit in-charge. New cases of high blood pressure and sugar were identified by the TAPP team.
The team also found that some people have protein and glucose in their urine. Creatinine test was taken for five patients. Those who required consultation with a doctor were referred to nearby primary health centres.
Dr. Sarvesh also provided dietary advice to all the participants.
