The first thing that TANKER Foundation Managing Trustee, Ms. Latha A. Kumaraswami, notices when she meets people is their mask – whether they are wearing one or not. Be it a few labourers on the road or policemen, the frontline workers, keeping order on the streets. She would immediately dip into her bag and hand over masks that have the TANKER legend. Lately, Ms. Latha found the ration shop staff in Nungambakkam, Chennai, needing masks and gladly handed over the TANKER masks to them. The TANKER masks serve the purpose during the Covid-19 pandemic by protecting the recipients and are messengers of kidney health awareness.
