The TANKER Foundation’s TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team headed for Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai to distribute notices.

TAPP Madurai coordinator, Mr.V. Alagumalai, and intern, Mr.B. Koodalingam from Glanis Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Madurai, distributed the notices.

The TAPP team is thankful to Mr. Ramanathan, CEO, Aravind Eye Hospital, who kindly consented to the distribution of educative material about kidney disease.

The distribution happened Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Department of Cornea, OP ward of the hospital.

The notices were distributed to 350 people, including all staff members, OP Patients and their attendants.

Of these, 22 people enquired about kidney health. Their doubts were cleared and they were also given dietary advice by the TAPP team.
