Under the ‘Prevention Through Patient’ programme, a team from TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) of TANKER Foundation conducted a screening camp at Thirumogoor in Melur taluk of Madurai, Saturday, September 14, 2024.

The camp was organised by Madurai unit patient, Mr. Ravi, who lives in the area.

Dr. Balamurugan led the TAPP team that consisted of Mr. Samuel and Mr. Vijay Anand Kumar. Four students of Glanis Institute of Allied Sciences, Mr. Suganesh, Mr. Sridhar, Mr. Rithish Kumar and Mr. Vasantha Kumar, ably assisted the team.

In all, 22 members of the general public benefited from the camp.

According to the TAPP team, they did not find new diabetic or hypertension cases. There was only one known case of renal disease and that person was attended to.

The TAPP team was thankful to Mr. Ravi for kindly arranging for breakfast also.
