A screening camp was conducted at Naickanahalli, in Dharmapuri district, by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation Saturday, September 30, 2023.

The camp was conducted at Shanti Jeevan Evangelical Mission, Dharmapuri, by TAPP team members, Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa. They were ably assisted by Mrs. Selvi and Mr. Daniel I. Prabhu.

In fact, the screening camp was organised by Mr. Daniel I. Prabhu – Managing Trustee, Word Creations.

The TAPP team screened 101 members of the general public. Their BMI and blood pressure was checked and they also had their capillary blood glucose and urine tested.

Newly-detected cases of high blood pressure and diabetes were referred to the nearby primary health centres.
