The pandemic has not stopped SAIBISA (Sai Baba is Still Alive Charitable Trust) Chennai, an NGO, from continuing its service at the Nungambakkam dialysis unit of TANKER Foundation. Adhering to Covid-19 protocol, the volunteers of the NGO handed over dry ration to 15 patients undergoing dialysis at the unit.
Di Jaan (Managing Trustee and Founder of the Trust) and SAIBISA have always been in the forefront in feeding the hungry, says a note from the NGO. It adds that ‘with Di’s loving guidance and the unwavering dedication of the volunteers, the team in Chennai has been distributing ration kits to these patients to ensure that they do not worry about where their next meal is going to come from’ during the Corona pandemic.
The amazing fact is that SAIBISA has been donating 15 dry ration kits every month at the Nungambakkam dialysis unit of TANKER Foundation for almost five years now, considering the economic status of the underprivileged who undergo dialysis there.
