Great response. This was what the TANKER Foundation Awareness and Prevention Program team had to say about the awareness and screening camp they held at Penial Rural College of Education, Vemparali, in Dindigul district July 2, 2022.
In total, 64 staff members were screened. The screening programme started with registration, measurement of height, weight and BMI were calculated, then blood pressure random blood sugar and urine analysis for sugar and protein were done.
Simultaneously, an awareness programme was also conducted and 25 members participated in it.
The TAPP team included Dr. Immanuel Sathish, Mr. Samuel, Mrs. Gnanasundari and Madurai unit Program Coordinator, Mr. Alagumalai. They were supported by five nursing students.
Mr. Alagumalai appreciated the response from the institution and said they were highly helpful also.
