A screening camp was held in a stall put up at the HB petrol pump in Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai, by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation.

The camp was conducted by TAPP team member, Mrs. Deepa, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the Sri Murugan Agencies HB petrol pump at Vavin, Ambattur Industrial Estate. Mrs Deepa was ably assisted by intern, Ms Jeevarani, first-year MSW student from D.G. Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam.

In all, 25 members of the general public were screened and leaflets were distributed to 55 others.

Blood pressure and capillary blood glucose of the participants was checked at the camp.

Those who needed further treatment were referred to the TAPP clinic.
