Screening camp at church premises

On behalf of TANKER Foundation, the Chennai team of TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) conducted a screening camp for kidney disease at Berachah church, in Kolathur, Chennai.

The camp that was conducted in the prayer hall of the church Sunday, September 25, 2022, saw the participation of 23 people.

The tests done on them included BMI, BP, random blood sugar and urine test.

Guided by Dr. Nikitha, the TAPP team, consisting of Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa, found most people had high BP.

They were referred to the government hospital for further tests and treatment.

Volunteers, Mrs. Anitha and Mr. Velu, were at hand to help the TAPP team.
