The TANKER Foundation’s TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team continued its tremendous work of screening members of the public for kidney diseases.
This time the screening took place at the Udhavum Ullangal Charitable Trust in C.I.T. Nagar of T. Nagar, Chennai. It was at the Community College run by the Trust. The camp was held for the students.
Earlier, TAPP has conducted awareness talks for the students in three of their centres in Chennai.
According to head of TAPP, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi, they screened 40 people.
The participants were checked for height, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar and their urine was also tested.
Those who were having values above normal have been referred to their physicians as per their request.
The TAPP team is proud to have offered its services to these women.
