The TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation, led by its Head, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi, held a screening camp at MMM signal in Mogappair for the benefit of construction workers and general public.

TANKER Foundation Founder-Trustee, Dr. Georgi Abraham, added strength to the TAPP team with his presence on the day of the camp, Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Dr Padma and Dr Sharmila guided the TAPP team that included Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa.

They were ably assisted by volunteers, Mr. L.G Ravi, Mr. Parthiban and Mrs. Khazhaga Selvi, three Scouts students and five nursing students from ANEW.

The camp was held at the Construction Workers Welfare Association in Mogappair, and saw the participation of 86 members of the public.

The TAPP team checked their BMI and BP and conducted capillary blood glucose and urine test for all the participants.

The TAPP team found that most of them had capillary blood glucose. Those who had urine glucose were asked to do FBS and PPBS and see the doctor at their primary health centre or private hospitals.
