The TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation conducted a screening camp at the CSI Rev. E.O. Shaw Memorial Church at Arakkonam, Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Dr. Sarvesh was at hand to guide the TAPP team of Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa. They were ably assisted by volunteers, Mrs. Anitha and Mr. Premkumar.

The camp was organised by Mrs. Menaka, TANKER dialysis unit in-charge at Thiruverkadu.

At the camp, 81 members of the general public were screened.

During the camp, many individuals, known to have diabetes, were attended to, and new cases of high blood pressure and diabetes were identified.

The new cases were referred to nearby primary health centres (PHCs) for further treatment.

Dr. Sarvesh provided dietary advice to all the participants.
