A large number of women turned up at the screening camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Suruttal, in Tiruvannamalai district.

The camp, conducted at the library in Suruttal Thursday, August 17, 2023, was conducted by TAPP team members Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa. They were ably assisted by a volunteer.

In all, 62 members of the general public turned up at the screening camp. Their BMI and blood pressure was checked and capillary blood glucose and urine tested.

The TAPP team detected some new diabetes and hypertension cases. These people were referred to the primary health centre.
