It was heartening to note that most of the participants at the screening camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Vidhya Sagar International Public School, Tiruppur, did not have any problems.

The TAPP team, led by Dr Mahadevan and Dr Siddiq, consisted of Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa. They were joined by Senior Manager of Tiruppur unit, Mr. Jinu Kumar, two more staff and three paramedical students.

The screening camp, held at Koolipalayam Ring Road, Tiruppur, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, saw the participation of 106 teachers and parents of the school.

Their BMI and blood pressure was checked and their capillary blood glucose and urine tested.

The team found that BMI was a little high for some people but most of the people did not have any problem.
