It is not for nothing that we call our staff Angels on Earth. They have shown great dedication and rendered selfless service not just down the years but even during the corona pandemic. The latest pat that the TANKER Foundation got on the back was from the Tamil Nadu government.
The Ambattur dialysis unit (Rekha Memorial Renny Abraham Ambattur Rotary TANKER Foundation Dialysis Unit) was selected by the government for award of a Certificate of Appreciation ‘for exemplary performance under Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CHCHIS-AB-PMJAY)’.
The unit, functioning from Ambattur Rotary Hospital, First Main Road, Ambattur Industrial Estate, has 26 dialysis stations. HIV positive, Hepatitis B and C positive patients are also dialysed.
A committee selected the best performing private and government hospital at the district-level as per the qualifying criteria set by the National Health Authority and the TANKER Foundation unit was selected in the private sector in the district.
The certificate was presented August 15, 2021, Indian Independence Day, by the Tiruvallur Collector, Dr. Alby John Varghese, IAS. The invaluable certificate was received by Mr. Guganathan, Senior Unit Manager, Ambattur dialysis unit, on behalf of TANKER Foundation.
