The TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation carried its message with conviction to school students in Alwarpet, Chennai.

The awareness programme, conducted Friday, October 27, 2023, was held at the Corporation High School in Alwarpet, Chennai.

In all, 35 students and two teachers participated in the programme conducted by TAPP team members, Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa.

Since the participants were young, Mrs. Ramapriya targeted their eating habits and advised them against eating roadside foods to prevent kidney disease. She also spoke about the importance of drinking a lot of water for kidney health.

Through the programme, the teachers said, they also understood how important it was to create awareness among their students and their family.
