It was a day of rejoicing and rededication for members of the TANKER family as TANKER Foundation turned 30, Friday, June 30, 2023.

A small meeting was held in the admin office of TANKER Foundation at T. Nagar, Chennai, to celebrate the landmark event.

TANKER Foundation Managing-Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, gave a small motivating speech and also made it an occasion to thank everyone who has made TANKER grow and expand.

The office was tastefully decorated by the admin and accounts staff with balloons to mark every year of progress and with matching photographs hanging from them. Streamers connected all the thirty balloons. And a cake was also cut.

TANKER Foundation Head Admin, Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander, Deputy General Manager, Mrs. S. Geetha, and Advisory Members, Ms. Saraswathy Sadasivan, Ms. Nikhil Sridhar, Ms. Rohini Menon, Ms. Vidhya Arumugam and Mrs. Sudha Lakshmi Rao (joined online), auditor Mr. Srikant and other well-wishers were present to enjoy the milestone moment.

All the staff members, whom TANKER Foundation Managing-Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, calls Angels on Earth, made it a day to remember. They did up their respective dialysis units with streamers, balloons and ‘happy memories’ of patients. Some had rangoli and flower arrangements on the floor to celebrate the anniversary.

Every unit cut a cake that was beautifully decorated and carried loving messages, and involved the patients in the exercise. The patients were given cakes and biscuits to celebrate the day.

On the whole, the day was an exhilarating experience for all members of the TANKER family.
