TANKER awareness campaign at Pondy Bazaar

It was the last weekend before the dawn of Deepavali and people would be thronging Pondy Bazaar, the shopping hub in T. Nagar, Chennai.

So, the two interns of TANKER Foundation, Aakarsh Kankaria, Grade 11 student of The Indian Public School, and Gaurav M S, Grade 11 student of the The Velammal International School, hit upon the idea that they would carry out an awareness campaign on kidney health in Pondy Bazaar, Saturday, October 22, 2022.

The interns distributed masks with TANKER Foundation’s mission message as also brochures that would help people take care of their kidneys.

Though the people were busy with their shopping schedule, some showed great interest in what the interns had to tell them about preventing kidney diseases.
