Thursday, June 30, 2022, was a heartwarming day for TANKER Foundation management, staff, patients, donors and enablers: It was the 29th anniversary of TANKER Foundation.

A small function at the admin office in T. Nagar, Chennai, was replicated in all the 12 dialysis units of TANKER Foundation.

At the admin office, TANKER Foundation Managing-Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, cut a beautiful cake and gave a small thanksgiving speech. She mentioned how TANKER has grown from a small beginning with Rs. 3,000 to celebrating its 29th anniversary.

Listing out everyone, including the media, who has helped along the way, Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami said she was happy they were with us to celebrate the 29th anniversary and hoped they would be with TANKER ‘forever’.

The yummy cake was distributed and the yearly gift was presented to everyone in the office.

This routine was followed in all the 12 TANKER dialysis units by the heads of those units: Cake was cut, gifts were presented and patients spoke about the good work TANKER was doing.

All the patients who went on record praised the TANKER staff for their care and affection and the way the units were being run like by a family. They did not fail to mention the cleanliness aspect and wished TANKER many more successful years and more help from it.
