TANKER turns 28!

Though it was a difficult year due to the Corona pandemic, there was celebration in the air Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the dialysis units run by TANKER Foundation. It was, indeed, a day to celebrate across the dialysis units as we completed 28 years of service.

In a touching message, Founder Trustee, Dr Georgi Abraham, said, “All my dear dialysis staff in all TANKER DIALYSIS UNITS.As we all join together for serving the poor with no caste, as children of one God. Ur service has been admirable as we reach the milestone of 28 yrs of service. All Ur sincere efforts and compassion to patients are deeply appreciated. May God Bless U all.”

Foundation Managing-Trustee, Ms. Latha A. Kumaraswami, led the celebrations at the admin office in T. Nagar, Chennai, cutting a delectable cake. She praised the work of the staff and exhorted them to continue their services with dedication and compassion to the needy patients. She said the staff are the pillars of TANKER without who we will not be standing where we are today. She thanked each and everyone of the TANKER family for their support in providing uninterrupted service for the life-saving procedure.

Head Administration, Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander, Advisory Member, Ms. Rohini Menon, were happy participants at the event. Ms. Latha Kumaraswami then distributed this year’s gift, pressure cooker, to all the staff members.Cake cutting, joyful singing and distribution of gifts took place in all the dialysis centres like in Chennai, and outside the city, in Vellore, Tiruppur, Madurai and Coimbatore.
