There was a special visitor to the Valluvarkottam dialysis unit of TANKER Foundation Saturday, October 16, 2021.
Thousand Lights MLA, Dr. N. Ezhilan, visited the unit and checked out the reverse osmosis system. He was impressed by the work being rendered by TANKER at the unit.
Dr. Ezhilan told unit manager, Mrs. R. Amirtharani, that he was willing to arrange for a visit by a nephrologist, He also discussed the possibility of starting a HIV positive patients dialysis machine in one of the rooms.
Dr. Ezhilan, who is said to have been the personal physician of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M. Karunanidhi, promised to another visit to the unit with Health Minister, Mr. Ma. Subramaniam.
