The Founder Trustee of TANKER Foundation and renowned nephrologist, Dr. Georgi Abraham, was honoured with the ‘Recognition Award’ by the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT) in Gujarat, “for the Outstanding Contribution in Transplantation”.

Dr. Georgi Abraham was presented the award during the34th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT 2024) held at Ahmedabad from October 17-20.

The award was presented to Dr. Georgi Abraham by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Bhupendrabhai Patel, and in the presence of Justice Bhushan R. Gavai, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, and Justice Sunita Agarwal, Chief Justice, High Court of Gujarat.

Dr. Georgi Abraham has been a nephrologist and has 40 years experience. He is an expert in home peritoneal dialysis (CAPD / APD), kidney transplantation, haemodialysis, CKDMBD and nutrition.
