A patient education workshop on ‘Kidney Transplant – a Gift of Life’, in Tamil, was held online by MOHAN Foundation in partnership with TANKER Foundation and IFKF-WKA.
The workshop, held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, had over 35 dialysis patients from two units participating actively.
This workshop was meant for dialysis patients, caregivers and dialysis technicians, conducted by TRIOMPH, a patient support group launched by MOHAN Foundation.
Ms. Sujatha from MOHAN Foundation gave an in-depth talk on all that happens before, during and after a transplant.
Patients heard a donor of kidney and transplant patients speak and share their experiences.
It was an extremely informative morning.
Ms.Jaya Jairam, Project Director, MOHAN Foundation, Mumbai, and Ms. Sujatha have come forward to do this for TANKER.
